Meds!

I know this post will come before the contract craziness post, so I'll just say here that we had our contracts signed on April 24th. Adam & Steve's lawyer faxed it to the RE on the 26th, and the RE sent the order for my meds. It was pretty perfect, because my period started on the 25th, so we were in time to start the cycle.

I got my calendar, and it had me starting my meds on Saturday, the 27th. They would be delivered to me sometime Saturday, hopefully in the morning, since I was supposed to take the estrogen twice. Adam wrote to me Friday night and said that the pharmacy had called him about payment, but that he hadn't gotten to the phone until a couple of hours later. I had stuff to do Saturday, but I needed to stay home to sign for the package. Finally, at like 4, I called the pharmacy to make sure the package had actually been shipped. It took me a few people, but somebody finally knew what was going on. She found our open order on a lady's desk. Apparently, that lady left early every day, and instead of telling somebody that she hadn't gotten the payment info, she just left for the day with the order still pending. So, no meds. I was seriously pissed. This pharmacy specializes in fertility meds. They have to be taken starting on a certain day, or it can mess up a whole month and cost people thousands of dollars! How could they let that happen?

Anyway, the lady I actually talked to said they would contact Adam and Steve and get the meds to me by Monday. I emailed Ashley, but she was out of town for the weekend. The meds did get here this morning, and I was able to start them. Ashley got back to me and said it would be fine. I was originally supposed to go in for a sonogram and some blood work on Wednesday, but that's been changed to Friday.

So, here are the meds I have now -

Estrace pills - one in the morning, one in the evening
Prenatal vitamins
Baby aspirin
Folic acid supplements

I'll take these daily until they change it.
