Annoyed

So, when we got back from the psych appointment, I wrote to Ashley, my coordinator at the IVF clinic. I told her we were done with that part, and that the contracts had been started. I wanted to know if I should get some birth control pills (BCPs) to start on, just in case the contracts weren't done by the time my period started. With my other two surrogacies, the clinic used BCPs to change the timing on my cycle, so they could coordinate it to their liking. I didn't want to wait a month for my next period if I could just go in the BCPs with this next one. She said OK, and also said that I would need to complete a written psychological examination and that Linnell and I would both need blood work done. I had expected blood work, as we had needed it for the last two, but I was rather peeved that she hadn't told me earlier. We could have gotten it done while he already had the day off. I was uber-pissed that she was now saying I had to do the written test, when Kate had said I didn't need to. I would have done the damn thing when I was down there already.

I expressed to her that Kate had said I didn't need the test, and she said OK, as long as Kate wrote that in her report. I felt better. And, she was able to get me the blood work orders quickly, so we were able to go get that done no problem.

It was kind of funny, because Kate had asked us if we had had any problems with Ashley. And up until this point, we hadn't. It all came out OK, though.
