So, today's appointment went as planned. Except that the RE saw lumps on the HSG. She said they could be fibroids or polyps, but she thinks they're probably adhesions from the D&C, since there was nothing there before. I have to go back in on Friday for a saline sonohystogram, so she can get a closer look. If there is something there on closer inspection, it will mean surgery.
I'm not sure if this kind of surgery is something my insurance would cover or not. They won't do anything with the assisted reproduction part of things, but they do say they cover some fertility things. I called the insurance, and the lady said they sounded like something that would be covered under the surgical benefits, but she would need to know the procedure numbers before she could tell me for sure. I'm trying to figure out if my insurance will help before I go in for the sonohystogram, because if my insurance won't help, and the surgery will be cost prohibitive, there's no reason for them to pay for the sono.
I wrote to my coordinator, so hopefully I'll hear back soon.
